Power_of_loveWhew! We are back and have survived another 10 days in the desert - a personal best... Posting has been slow, but my first roll of pix set to music is not. 13MB Quicktime video. I recommend plugging into a big stereo and projector, flipping into full screen mode, turn up the volume & enjoy!

Burning Man 2005

Steveb3man181630,000 people. A vast expanse of virgin desert. A tsunami of creativity. 1 week form today. Whether you want to be inspired for last-minute costumage or are wondering what it's all about, any arts festival where a climactic 40-foot tall effigy burning in ritualistic transformation is one of the less interesting things going on has to have something going for it. :-)

See you folks out there - stop by hotel Ashram Galactica: 5 o'clock and Amnesia, just behind Mekka (on the esplanade). We're putting on the spa - stop by for a respite or just to say hi!

Jamaic-uh

Jamaica: land of sun, fun, reggae and rum, ganja and rent-a-Rastas - where better to get away from it all and have a nice chillout than where the national slogan is "soon come"? Unfortunately (at least in the offseason), I say "just as soon not have come".
